Work mode
WiFi Control: when there is WiFi around the smart switch, the smart switch connect to the router, mobile control the smart switch via 4G/WiFi. The smart switch is local/remote controlled by APP.
Direct control: If there is no WiFi around the smart switch, the mobile should be connected to smart switch WiFi signal “STswitch_xxxx”, then local control via APP. In direct mode, the smart switch can’t be remote controlled, and can’t be voice controlled by Alexa/ the Google assistant. If the smart switch has been added successfully, you can switch work mode in App.
Tips:
1. Please be careful during wiring, the wiring operation must be processed during a blackout. The wiring should be operated by a professional electrician and follow wiring security code.
2. The smart switch avoids being installed in sunlight exposure or place as electromagnetic interference.
3. The smart switch only supports 2.4GHz WiFi network, it does not support 5G, it also does not support WiFi SSID and password contained Chinese character, if Chinese character included, it will lead to pairing failure.
4. Please notice that don’t close to metal objects side, avoid bad effects on wireless signals.
